The wife of Nigerian international football player Fegor Ogude, 28, who plays for Amkar Perm in the Russian Premier League, has been kidnapped by the terrorists of Boko Haram while visiting her home over the holiday period.
The incident happened in the city of Warri, which is located in southern Nigeria. The kidnappers attacked the wife of the footballer Maimunat Ogude just next to their house when she was with their children.
The unidentified attackers pushed the woman into a car and then drove away in an unknown direction. The kidnappers did not touch the children.
Fegor was absent from home at that moment and found out about the tragic event from his brother and he said: “I immediately contacted the police. I was trying to find out more about these men, but have not succeeded.”
Local police confirmed that they found the car Fegor’s wife was in some 30 km (18.6 miles) away from Warri. Since the earlier report, there has been no further information about Maimunat and the kidnappers have not got in touch with Fegor.
Executive director of the Amkar club, Denis Maslov, said: “There were no requests from the kidnappers. If there would be any, the club will help to the extent it can.”

Fegor era assente da casa in quel momento ed è statoavvisato dal fratello ed ha dichiarato”. Ho subito contattato la polizia perchè vorrei saperne di più su questi uomini, ma non ci sono riuscito”.
La polizia locale ha confermato che hanno trovato l’auto con cui è stata rapita la moglie di Fedor a circa 30 km di distanza da Warri. Dal quel momento non ci sono state più notizi su Maimunat e i rapitori non si sono messi in contatto con Fegor.
Il Direttore esecutivo del club Amkar, Denis Maslov, ha dichiarato: “Non ci sono state richieste da parte dei rapitori. Se ci ne fossero, il club contribuirà nella misura in cui può.”.
